How do I cleanse and charge my natural crystals?

Many cleanse their crystals energetically with sage or palo santo and place them in the light of the full moon or on a rock crystal plate to charge. Important: Some minerals like selenite cannot tolerate water – when in doubt, it is better to cleanse them dry. You can find more on this under energetic cleansing.

What should I look out for when buying rare mineral specimens?
